Hi Mark and Wendee, Just wanted to say thank you for your hospitality and wonderful facilities at your caravan park. we stayed in cabin 16 from the 7th oct for 3 nights. I didn\'t want to leave. it was so peaceful and beautiful. We shall definitely return. thanks again. Judy

Our caravan club Australasian Caravan and Motorhome and Camping Club held a Northen Victorian
region gathering at this park from 21 to 28 August 2012.
Mark & Wendee The managers made us very
welcome by telling us the history of the park and what went on at the recent flood time, also supplied
nibbles for our enjoyment.
Mark constructed a great camp fire each night supplying an endless supply
of wood. This gave a us warm highlight and good cooking fire.
All sights were very large drive through
and grass, some had large concrete blocks, making it like home. The amenities block were keep very
clean with plenty of hot water. We also had use of the camp kitchen for our night activity, he also
purchased an out door heater to make it more homely.
We strongly recommend this park for over
night stop or longer as it is only a short walk to the shops. There is good river walks from the park,
taking aches and pain after long trips and good time to enjoy nature.
Our thanks to Mark and Wendee for a lovely stay Bill King No 258

This is a lovely grassed park on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River only one street
back from the main street and just off the highway, so ideally located to the town centre. The managers
Mark and Wendee were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was completed quickly. The sites were
nice and flat, drive-thru and grassed. The amenities were very clean and well maintained. Even
though the park is close to the highway, we did not find the noise of the semis throughout the night
to be a problem. Rates were very reasonable as well. Nildottie SA

I recently stayed at the council caravan park for two nights and would like the
council to know that it was one of the nicest parks I have stayed in. I have been
travelling in a motor home  for the last few years in around Australia. I have stayed
in many four star facilities that were not as well kept. The managers were friendly
and helpful, the facilities were spotless. It was a great pleasure to stay in such
a well tended park. We planned to stay for one night but decided to stay for two,
the manager was very good at promoting the town and we enjoyed our stay.
Yours sincerely Susan Masters

Hi Team, I just wish to take a moment to say thank you for a great stay.

We had an unplanned stop at Balranald due to our 16 month old daughter deciding enough was enough.
We were met with smiling faces and great advice. From supplying a good site, firewood, down to where
the pub was that was having schnitzel night! Not to mention a clean and respectable park even though
you were preparing for another possible flood event.
It’s the little things that count – right down to the
$1 worth of laundry detergent we needed rather than attempting to sell us a full box.
We have just
returned from 2 weeks on the road and both my wife and I agree that the best stay on route was at
Balranald Caravan Park. So much so you are now scheduled in for a lay-over on our ‘Outback’ adventure
in 2013.
Cheers and beers Scott

Hi
we stayed at your caravan park at Balranald each way to the East Coast and back and we must
say that on our travels it was the most refreshingly clean park that we stayed at
we just loved it,
the river the ducks, galahs, rosellas and the cleanliness, the wet areas were a testament to your
commitment to your park. And sadly for the other parks the only one i did not have to hold my breath at the urinal :-)) Thank You..   Geoff & Marg Tapps 6/2/12

Hello and greetings from Adelaide. We booked in at your nice park, found some problem with the car. Received
some very nice advise and stayed until our car was repaired. We would like to thank you for the consideration
and the help offered by Mark and Wendee. Will always remember the pleasant stay and will certainly
recommend the park and definitely the care and consideration from the two of you.
Yours gratefully Sigrid and Ingo Fruendt, Hallett Cove.

"More than just a stop to break the long journey from Sydney to Adelaide; Mark and Wendee are creating a destination in
Balranald. Set on the banks of the lizard skinned Murrumbidgee is a park of serene beauty. For me the added bonus was encountering a fellow foodie and 'jam maker' in Wendee. I suggest you try the kiwi fruit with a hint of ginger, it's a jam
that would compete with your traditional marmalade at breakfast. Thank you both for your hospitality, and see you on
our next trip. Lloyd and Karen. www.lloydsluscious.wordpress.com

Hi to Balranald Caravan Park

We stayed at your caravan park on the night of 27th November on our way from Young NSW to our
daughters at Sellicks Beach in SA. We left early Monday morning before we had the opportunity to
see you.We would like to congratulate you both and recognise the hard work you do in maintaining
your park. It was a pleasure to stay there. We will certainly recommend the park to our travelling friends
and will be more than happy to  stay with you again on future trips. I realise you have many travellers
staying over and probably would not remember all but my husband and I spoke to you about making
jams and pickles and did in fact purchase three jars from you. They were very much enjoyed by us both.
I particularly enjoyed the Wild fig and Tomato and also the Bread and Butter Bush Pickles were as you
described “bloody beautiful”.
May you all enjoy the Festive Season although it will
probably be a busy time for you.
Happy pickling and all the best. Regards Robyn and Geoff Moore
