At no other time in Australian history has water been such an important national issue, and yet its meandering 1400 kilometre passage is met with concern . . . what we have discovered is a plethora of life, the river has been reborn. Our sunrises and sunsets are filled with the sights and sounds of a recovering ecosystem. A myriad of frogs, insects and bird life fill the air with a melodious tune. This water will nourish a vast landscape and drive the cycle of life in areas far away from the surface water. So stop in and enjoy this wondrous display – it may not happen again for some time.
